FAQS

Why are we doing this?
We believe Family Church has the God-sized mission to do all we can to reach Douglas County to become worshipers of God. Our county has almost 108,000 people within it and communities as far north as Drain, south as Glendale, west as Reedsport, and east as Diamond Lake. Research shows that 80% of churches in America are declining or plateaued. We desire to encourage churches and open campuses in key areas so more people can know and grow in Christ.

What is the REACH project?
The REACH initiative is a multi-phase plan that begins with the opening of a new Family Church Campus in the South Umpqua area of Douglas County.  This initiative will also include the expansion of ministry space in Sutherlin and planning for the future of the Green Campus so that more people and families can effectively be reached in these locations. As our impact in Douglas County expands we will continue to join God in reaching the lost people locally and around the world.

When will this begin?
The first phase of REACH will be launched this fall. Our goal is to raise $500,000 to launch the South Umpqua campus in 2018 and an additional
$1.6 million within the next three years to improve the Sutherlin Campus facilities.

How and when do I give to REACH?
